Grameen Australia Steering Committee

Ian Neil SC (Chair) is the Chair of the Grameen Australia microfinance Steering Committee and a board member of Grameen Australia. He is a senior barrister with a national practice, who has a passion for human rights law, including the rights of asylum seekers. He has also trained barristers in developing countries including in Bangladesh.

Peter Hunt AM is an investment banker and engaged philanthropist. He is the founder and chair of a number of charitable organisations that tackle social disadvantage. He is the previous Chairman and current board member of Grameen Australia. Peter was made a member of the General Division of the Order of Australia in 2010 for services to the philanthropic sector.

Katrina Dunn is the CEO of Grameen Australia and a former corporate, banking and finance lawyer with a background in technology, innovation and social entrepreneurship.

 

Adam Mooney (Deputy Chair) is the Deputy Chair of the Grameen Australia microfinance Steering Committee. He is the current CEO of Big River Impact Foundation, and the former CEO of Good Shepherd Microfinance (backed by NAB).

Leigh Coleman is a microfinance practitioner who was the founding CEO of Many Rivers Microfinance, former Acting CEO of Thrive Refugee Enterprise, Asia Regional Director and Board member of leading microfinance organisation Opportunity International, and current CEO of Servegate.

Dr Masud Isa has worked for many years in leadership roles in Grameen Bank, Bangladesh, and was the CEO of a number of Grameen organizations. He is a close colleague of Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. Masud has also consulted on microfinance to DFAT, UNHCR and Grameen Trust in Bangladesh.

Mark Ingram is a diplomat, an international trade and development practitioner, and the founding CEO of Business for Millennium Development. He is the current Executive Director of impact investing firm Brightlight.

Shah Nawaz is the founding CEO-Operations of Grameen America. Shah worked closely with Professor Yunus in Bangladesh, and established the national operations of Grameen inspired microfinance programs in Honduras, the Dominican Republic; and India.

Eva is currently working as an associate for a financial marketing agency, with previous experience as a NSW Women's Alliance representative.
