Help Grameen Foundation in its work to defeat poverty
GFA now serves more than 15 000 poor people in South East Asia, especially women and their families. However, much more can be done and we need support to continue our work and go ahead.
Please consider contributing to GFA and taking part of the struggle against poverty.
Thank you for bringing hope to the communities we serve and providing them the concrete means to break the chains of fate.

The micro-credit system the Grameen has created provide the poor people with a sustainable way of banking based on mutual trust, accountability, participation and creativity.
The micro loans we provide to poor people are just like basic loans which help them starting or developing a viable and sustainable business. Our repayment rate is nearly 100%, and the money is loaned out again, always helping more people. As you can see, every dollar you give goes a long long way and constitutes a very efficient weapon in the fight against poverty.

Generate interest amongst your colleagues and management for Workplace Giving. This program is an easy way for employers to help the community through its payroll system as supported by the ATO. Employees benefit too, as most people will get a tax benefit in their pay every time they donate. GFA will then have the advantage of receiving stable, regular funding with little or no administration costs.
