Teresita is 67 years old and married.  She is very hard-working.

She runs a sari-sari store which, in the Philippines, is a general store.  She sells many items in her store, from fruits and vegetables, to toys and candy.  From her home, she sells charcoal and makes rags in the evening to sell in bundles to other borrowers and businesses.

She received a no-interest loan of 10,000 Pesos ($245) for her business in October 2010.  She is in the process of paying it off.

 Teresita is very happy because of how her business is now growing and functioning.  She is extremely glad to be part of Grameen project!
