Grameen Foundation Australia has a network of volunteers and workers, committed to our vision, mission and values. Our office, in donated premises, is based in Sydney. Overseeing our work is our Board of Directors. As an organisation we aim to nurture new ideas, innovation, strategic thinking, and new program development.

Cassandra Treadwell
Cass gained her masters in medical law and ethics from King’s College, London University. She is a Fellow in Medical Law and Ethics at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and consults on medico legal issues.

Peter Hunt, AM (Chairman)
Peter is Chairman of leading Australian corporate advisory firm, Greenhill Caliburn. He has been advising local and multi-national companies and governments here and overseas for more than 25 years. He was previously Joint Head of Corporate Finance at ABN AMRO and BZW. Peter is Chairman of the AMP Foundation and the Australian String Quartet and a Trustee of the St Vincent's Clinic Medical Research Foundation and the Andilyakwa Indigenous Mining Trust. Peter is also a member of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission's Advisory Panel.

Wayne Peters (Director)
Wayne Peters grew up in Hong Kong and Australia. In 1995, after 15 years in the finance industry, he founded a leading investment company, Allard Partners, to pursue his belief in growth opportunities for investors in the Asia Pacific region at a time of significant structural change. Wayne Peters has over 30 years experience in retailing and investment markets.

Paul Murnane (Director)
Paul Murnane is a company director and corporate advisor with 35 years experience in financial services, consulting and general management in Australia and abroad. Most recently he was Senior Advisor of O'Sullivan Partners, an Australian corporate advisory firm. Prior to this he was an Executive Director of Goldman Sachs JBWere; and MD of Russell Reynolds Associates (a leading global executive search firm where he provided strategic advice for Chairmen and CEOs), following directorships of several investment banks in Australia and abroad.
He holds economics and business administration degrees from the Universities of Sydney and New South Wales. His past and present services to community include: director of Multiple Sclerosis ACT/NSW/VIC, MS Research Australia, The Sydney Institute, and the Australian Scholarships Foundation.
Lindley Edwards is the Group Managing Director of AFG Venture Group and its various subsidiaries. AFG Venture Group undertakes mergers, acquisitions, divestments, fund raising, licensing and strategic consulting. AFGVG has offices in Sydney, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and India.
She is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia. Lindley holds two undergraduate degrees one in Accounting and the other in Banking and Finance. She also holds post graduate qualifications in Corporate Governance and in various Financial Services regulatory courses and is currently studying for a PhD in Philosophy.
Lindley is a non-executive Director and Advisory Board member of various organizations including Asialink, Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust, Centennial Parklands Foundation, Ausstralian Federal Government Co-Operative Research Committee, University of Western Sydney Foundation
